Postcard design

Here is the new and improved postcard design I have come up with. I have simplified it some by removing some images from the front, I added the show title to the front as well, and I used a different font for the smaller text on the back. Gimme some feedback! I need to know ASAP any changes so that I can get it printed. Thanks!

  1. Here is some constructive criticism based on the advice I received from Clint and Joey when I worked on my invitations.

Remember the hierarchy rule: Title, Subtitle, Info, Body. BAsically, you want to have different sizes for each group to give the reader an idea of what info goes with what - you demonstrated this in the back (though I feel your name on the back should be the same size as the rest of the body). The front should reflect the back in the same hierarchy.

The other thing worth mentioning is the layout of the back. The cascade and centering of the title & body is a little hard to read. Draw some guide lines on InDesign or Illustrator and align your tex to those - you can move whole groups of bodies, but have them be consistent.

Lastly, I think the 3rd image (L-R) needs to be changed/ re-arranged. The other three have someone in focus and taking up space, while the 3rd image seems empty in comparison.

Well, those are my two cents - best of luck! (:

  2. …maybe crop in on the 4th image as well?

  3. I really like the Images you choose. It looks really serious and there's a lot of nice lines going on. The only think I would say it's that the first photo it's kind a light and the rest of the postcard is dark so I would like to see how it looks putting this photo more in the middle.
But the overall I like it.
