Hello everyone who still reads this,
I am writing to show a few of my new photos I have worked on. It has happened, I have entered the world of wedding photography. I am assisting the Famous William Company with some weddings this season. I am learning a new style of photography and am improving on my social skills.....slowly......very slowly. This past wedding was a blast! Not only did I shoot an amazing bride and groom, but I got to do so with 2 amazing photographers that I love dearly. Ms. Emma Elaine Dobbs and Mr. William Hogan. Above are a few photos that I took before the wedding began. Two of them are of Emma and the last one is the groom's shoe. He wore the "something blue" and it was just perfect. Outside of weddings I haven't been that active with my photography. I feel my artistic energy building up, but I don't have time to do much outside of sleep, work, and watch the dog. I have decided that I am going to start looking at grad schools. I am ready to go back and get my masters so I can try to get a job as a professor. For any one who says "those who can't, teach." I don't care. I know I can make art, but as a professor I could have some job security and a constant pay with the possibility to make my art since I would be in a semi- conducive environment for art. Where I am now is redundancy. I work 5 days a week at a job that has nothing to do with my degree. I am ready to put those 6 years of college to use. UGA/SCAD/AI, look out, cause here I come!!!! Now in other news, I am trying to get some business from musicians. I sent a message to a musician that I absolutely freaking love saying that if he comes my way to let me know cause I would love to photography him. Here's hoping he heads out this way! I am trying to update and trouble shoot my website some....and doing so unsuccessfully... (thank you wix.com). Now, I believe that is all for now. I am hoping to start updating more often as I shoot more weddings and maybe some more carnies. Well, for now I will leave you with a quote from a friend of mine, Ms. Shannon Martin. "It might take logical minded people to put the lines on the Earth, but it takes artistic people like us to fill them with color."
Happy shooting,
Hayley
